The Golden Skull is a 3D art from Hirokazu Yokohara. He took around five days to complete the skull image. He says, in association with the CG director, art director, they created the Skull, the haunting image, using various notable techniques. They used MECH/FY – Procedural hard surfaces and to get from mech the finer details, it was with Blender 2.8. Apart from this, he says
they also used the EEVEE, the real-time renderer as an experiment. The grass was created using Blender and with add-0on Graswald.
Though the 3D art image took nealry five days to complete, this skull art provided Yokohara an opportunity to experiment and learn within Blender. He thanks the real-time renderer EEVEE, as he was able to complete the work with ease and speed. It was because he could go ahead with modeling, lighting, and layout while watching the image and its final quality.”
3D Model Character Designs
The main tool of Yokohara is 4D cinema. Hirokazu Yokohara finds the 4D tutorials easy to use and intuitive. He is a CG generalist and he studies several workflows and tools daily, trying to understand how to use and to get the right output as art.
Previously Yokohara was keenly working on various CG projects relating movies, and it included environmental design, photorealistic characters to stylized characters. He says all these were his inspiration, no matter, whether it is from everyday trivial events or artwork. He says, even the newest technology is a big inspiration to him.
